							A
bit about Alamosa Wine Cellars' Texas wines, and why they’re so
unique and exceptional: AWC grows and produces
exclusively European style varietals and blends. No
Cabernets. No Merlots. No Chardonnays.  You can
							get those anywhere.

							Alamosa specializes in

							warm climate
							European varietals such as
							Sangiovese, Syrah,
							Tempranillo, Viognier,
							Grenache, Morvedre, and Verdelho.
							As
such, they produce wines that are both unique, and
							specialized.

							As a
specialized winery, Alamosa's production volumes are
hundreds of cases, not thousands or tens of
thousands. Alamosa is not a mass production winery,
but rather focuses on high quality with a great big
Texas helping of personal touch by Winemaker Jim
Johnson and his wife Karen.   I hope each and every one of
							you enjoy these excellent wines.

							Alamosa
Wine Cellars was the very first Texas winery to
grow, produce, and bottle a Tempranillo, and more
							recently in 2010 - the state's first 100% Graciano.

							Once
again winemaker Jim Johnson demonstrates that he
							doesn't run with crowd . . .
